Sizes larger than 10×13 — such as 12×15, 12×18, and 14×16 — are made to order from our weaving partners. We place the order on your behalf and the piece is woven to your size; please allow a delivery time of roughly 1 to 4 months depending on the design and size. It is the right path when you want a true great-room or grand-entry rug and stock sizes won't do. When does a room need an oversized rug?

The rule we use on the showroom floor: a rug should anchor the entire furniture grouping, not float in the middle of it. If your sofa is deeper than 38 inches, your seating area is wider than 14 feet, or you want all furniture legs fully on the rug, you are in oversized territory. Matching the size to the room

  • 10×13 (in stock) — large living rooms (16–18 ft wide); all furniture legs on the rug.
  • 12×15 (made to order, ~1–4 months) — great rooms and open-concept living zones; 8–10 person dining tables with full chair clearance.
  • 12×18 and larger (made to order, ~1–4 months) — vaulted great rooms, large executive offices, and grand entries.

Materials & care

Our oversized rugs use a dense, color-stable heat-set pile on a stable backing — engineered for the high-traffic open spaces they are made for. Are oversized rugs washable? They are water-safe and fully washable, but at this scale a home washing machine is out of the question — clean them with a professional rug-cleaning service or rug-washing machine, then lay flat to dry. A quality rug pad is strongly recommended at this size to prevent shifting and extend the life of the rug.

Higher reed counts (1000–1500) produce sharper patterns. Our Persian-inspired collection is woven at 1200 reeds for crisp medallion definition.

Modern machine-made rugs use polypropylene and polyester pile on a cotton warp — soft underfoot, stain-resistant, and naturally fade-resistant.

Easy Maintenance

How long does shipping take?

All orders ship free across USA & Canada via FedEx or UPS. Standard delivery is 5–10 business days within the U.S. We process orders within 1 business day.

What is your return policy?

30-day returns on online orders. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. Customer pays return shipping. Approved refunds processed within 3–7 business days.

Are these rugs machine-made or hand-knotted?

Most pieces are high-quality machine-woven with hand-finished edges, often woven at 1200 reeds for sharp pattern detail. Each product page lists exact specifications.

Do you offer custom rug sizes?

For most designs, yes. Contact us with your dimensions for a custom quote. Lead time is typically 4–6 weeks.
