Honest sizing — what fits, what's in stock

U.S. retailers use “large area” loosely. Here is exactly what we carry, and what we recommend when a room asks for more.

Our largest size

10×13 ft
300×400 cm · ~129 sq ft

Anchors a 12×14 or 14×15 living room with 12–18″ floor reveal. 140+ designs in stock — Persian, Turkish, Kashan, Tabriz medallions.

Bigger than 10×13?

Two rugs, not one
the honest answer

We sell from stock and do not take special orders above 10×13. In a very large or open-plan room, defining each zone with its own rug reads better than one oversized rug floating in the middle.

How to size a large rug correctly

A rug that is one size too small is the most common large-room mistake. Here is the rule we coach every Sacramento client through.

Living rooms

Front legs of every seating piece on the rug, ideally all four legs. 12–18″ of bare floor reveal on every side. A 14×16 ft room takes a 10×13 comfortably.

Dining rooms

Add 24″ on every side of the table so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. A 96″ rectangular table needs roughly 8×12 ft; a 108″ round needs about 11×11 ft.

Open-plan / great rooms

Define each zone with its own rug rather than one giant rug. A 10×13 living anchor plus a 9×12 dining anchor reads far more intentional than a single rug stranded in the middle.

Primary suites

The rug should extend 24–36″ past the bed on three sides. A king bed (76×80″) sits well on a 10×13.

Frequently asked

What is the largest rug you carry?

10×13 ft (300×400 cm), available across 140+ designs in our 1200-Reed and 2 Million Point series. That is the largest size we stock, and we sell from stock only.

Can I order something larger than 10×13?

No. We do not take special orders for larger sizes. If your room needs more coverage, we will help you plan a two-rug layout or work with a larger floor reveal — both are correct, and both look better than a rug that is fighting the room.

How do I know whether 9×12 or 10×13 is right?

Measure the seating zone (or the dining table plus 24″ on every side), then add 12–18″ of reveal on every side. Send us the numbers by phone, WhatsApp, or in the showroom and we will confirm — no obligation.

Do you deliver large rugs?

Yes — free white-glove delivery and placement throughout the greater Sacramento region (Roseville, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, Davis). Elsewhere in the USA and Canada, shipping is free on orders over $110.

Can I see large rugs in person before deciding?

Yes. Our Watt Avenue showroom keeps a rotating selection of large-format machine-woven and hand-knotted pieces laid out for in-person scale assessment.
