We are proud to carry that legacy forward — from a real Sacramento showroom to homes across the United States and Canada. Where our rugs are made: every rug we sell is made in Türkiye (Turkey). We buy directly from two long-established manufacturers in Gaziantep — the largest machine-made carpet region in the world — and import full containers ourselves into the Port of Oakland, California. Every U.S. customs entry we file declares Türkiye as the country of origin.
Words such as Persian, Oriental, Kashan, Qom, Bijar, Tabriz and Afghan on this site name a design family or motif — standard trade terms for a visual style, in the same way “French Provincial” describes furniture rather than where it was built. They are not statements of manufacturing origin.

Stylish Rugs & Carpets™ is a family-owned rug showroom rooted in Sacramento. Every piece you see on this site has passed through our Sacramento rug showroom at 3423 Watt Avenue — we have held it, we have inspected it, and we believe in it.
We buy directly from our manufacturing partners in Gaziantep, Türkiye, and import full container loads ourselves through the Port of Oakland. No middlemen, no drop-shippers. That direct relationship is how we keep prices fair, quality high, and our sourcing story completely transparent. Our entire catalog — online and in the showroom — is Turkish-made, in Persian, Afghan, Arabic, classic and modern designs.
When you buy from us, you are not buying from a faceless drop-shipper or an algorithm. You are buying from a real showroom, run by real people, in the heart of Northern California.
We are proud to serve the Persian-speaking (Farsi and Dari), Afghan, Turkish, Arab, and wider Muslim communities of Sacramento and Northern California — from families coming in for a wedding-day rug to hosts setting up a majlis or guest hall. We choose rugs with real density and premium fibers — from 1200-reed Persian-design luxury weaves to time-honored Afghan and Turkish patterns, all woven in Türkiye. No mass-market shortcuts, no misleading labels.
Fair, Transparent Pricing
Because we own a real showroom and import directly from the mill, we cut out layers of middlemen. The price you see is the price for a rug we are proud to put our name on.

Our Collection
From Persian Medallions to Modern Minimalism
Our showroom carries an evolving curation for every style, taste, and budget — from accessible everyday rugs to luxury fine weaves — in nearly every design our customers ask for. Every piece is woven in Türkiye:
- Persian-design luxury — 1200-reed precision weaves, traditional medallions, vines, and scrolling motifs
- Afghan Toshak — floor cushion covers, foam sets and traditional seating
- Arabic Majlis — four-piece floor-sofa sets in classic regional patterns
- Turkish rugs and runners
- Modern, transitional, and contemporary area rugs in muted neutrals and editorial palettes
- Sizes from 3×6 up to 10×13 ft — we sell from stock, so what you see is what is on the floor. We do not take custom or made-to-order sizes.
What we do not do: we do not wash, repair, restore, re-fringe or appraise rugs, in-house or through partners — tell us what you have and we will point you to a Sacramento specialist. What we do offer is edge finishing and resizing on rugs bought from us. Genuine hand-knotted Afghan carpets are shown at the showroom by appointment and are not listed online.
