The Stylish Rugs Luxury Collection represents our premium tier — high-density Persian-design rugs built to the highest specifications we offer online. These pieces feature 1.5 million points of construction, deeper pile, richer dye saturation and the largest commercially-available sizes in microfibre-and-jute composition.

The Luxury Collection is curated for Sacramento homeowners and designers who want the visual impact of a serious Persian rug at a fraction of the cost of hand-knotted equivalents. Imperial royal blues, majestic crimsons, cream-and-gold combinations and the classic 1.5M-point Persian range all sit here. For hand-knotted investment pieces — antique Tabriz, signed Isfahan, silk Qum and museum-grade Kashan — please visit our Sacramento showroom by appointment. For hand-knotted Hereke and Qom silk see our silk rug collection; for true period pieces our antique & semi-antique Persian rugs rotate through the showroom; for bespoke dimensions our custom Persian rug commission service places work directly with master-weaver ateliers. Frequently asked questions

What does “1.5 million points” mean?

Point count measures the density of the weave — how many individual points (knot-equivalents) per square metre. 1.5M-point construction sits in the upper tier of machine-woven Persian design, allowing finer florals, more saturated colours and a thicker, more substantial hand than entry-tier 600K or 900K rugs.

Are luxury rugs hand-knotted?

Our online Luxury Collection is machine-woven at the highest density we offer. For hand-knotted luxury pieces — Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan, Qum silk and signed master-weaver rugs — please visit our Sacramento showroom by appointment.

How much does a luxury Persian rug cost?

Online luxury collection rugs range roughly $250–$700 depending on size. Hand-knotted luxury pieces in our showroom range from $3,000 to $50,000+ for museum-grade antique and silk pieces.

Do you offer designer trade pricing on luxury rugs?

Yes — registered ASID and IIDA members receive trade pricing across the luxury collection plus access to commissioned hand-knotted pieces through our showroom. Apply here.

What size luxury rug is right for a large living room?

For living rooms 16×20 feet or larger, the 10×13 luxury size anchors the seating zone properly. For 14×16 rooms, the 8.2×11.5 size is the optimal proportion. Message us with room dimensions for a per-room recommendation.

Buying Guide

How to Choose the Right Rug for Your Home

A fine rug should feel beautiful, balanced, and practical for the way you live. Use this quick guide to choose the right size, color, material, and style.

Choose the Right Size

For living rooms, 8×10 or 9×12 usually frames the seating area. For dining rooms, choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond the table.

Match Your Color Story

Burgundy and gold create a warm traditional look. Navy and cream feel elegant and modern. Ivory, beige, and soft tones help brighten smaller rooms.

Understand Rug Quality

Machine-made rugs offer consistent patterns, durability, and easier maintenance. Higher density and detailed weaving create sharper designs.

Practical Buying Notes

What to Know Before Buying a Machine-Made Rug

Machine-made rugs are a practical choice for many homes because they offer consistent patterns, accessible pricing, and easier maintenance.

Density & Detail

Higher reed counts (1000–1500) produce sharper patterns. Our Persian-inspired collection is woven at 1200 reeds for crisp medallion definition.

Material & Feel

Modern machine-made rugs use polypropylene and polyester pile on a cotton warp — soft underfoot, stain-resistant, and naturally fade-resistant.

Easy Maintenance

Many of our designs are machine-washable at 30°C or spot-cleanable. No professional cleaning required for everyday upkeep.

Best Rooms

Living rooms, family rooms, dining areas, hallways, kid rooms, and apartments — anywhere you want luxury looks with practical wear.

Wool or Handmade

For heirloom investment pieces or formal sitting rooms with light traffic, ask about wool and hand-knotted options at the showroom.
