Rug Services in Sacramento
We are a rug shop. The finishing work below is done in our own Watt Avenue workshop, on rugs bought from us. Anything else, we will tell you who to go to.
What we do here
- Overlocking & serging — edge and selvage binding
- Cutting & resizing — trimming a rug to fit your space, then re-binding the cut edge
- Joining — seaming two pieces into one
These are finishing services on rugs bought from us. We do not take in rugs bought elsewhere.
What we do not do
We do not wash or clean rugs, and we do not repair, restore, re-fringe or appraise them. Not in our shop, and not through anyone else on your behalf.
What we will do is tell you who does. Call (916) 890-4077 or come by with the rug — once we see the weave and the fringe we can usually tell you what it is and point you to the right specialist in the Sacramento area.
We would rather say no than get it wrong. Sending a wool rug to the wrong cleaner, or letting the wrong hands near an old foundation, costs far more than the job was worth.
Caring for your rug yourself
