Oversized rugs for the rooms where a 9×12 looks marooned — great rooms, open-plan living and dining, executive offices, and high-ceiling spaces. Our largest size is 10×13 ft (300×400 cm), available across Persian, Turkish, and Afghan designs in premium machine-woven construction up to 1,200 reeds and 2 million points.

10×13 is our largest size — and we say so plainly

We stock and sell what is on our floor and in our warehouse. We do not take special orders for sizes above 10×13. If your room genuinely needs more coverage than a 10×13 gives, the honest answer is usually one of two things:

• Define zones instead of covering the floor. In an open-plan great room, a 10×13 under the seating group plus a separate rug under the dining table reads more deliberate than one enormous rug floating between them.
• Accept a larger floor reveal. A 10×13 with front legs on the rug and 18–24″ of bare floor around it is a perfectly correct — and very common — layout in a big room.

When does a room need an oversized rug?

The rule we use on the showroom floor: a rug should anchor the entire furniture grouping, not float in the middle of it. If your sofa is deeper than 38 inches, your seating area is wider than 14 feet, or you want all furniture legs fully on the rug, you are in oversized territory. Matching the size to the room

• 10×13 — large living rooms (16–18 ft wide); all furniture legs on the rug.
• 9×12 — standard-to-large living rooms; front legs on the rug with a generous reveal.
• Two rugs — open-plan spaces where one rug cannot serve both the seating and dining zones.

Materials & care

Our oversized rugs use a dense, colour-stable pile on a stable backing — engineered for the high-traffic open spaces they are made for. They are water-safe, so water cleans them rather than damages them: blot everyday spills with cold water and a drop of mild soap. At this scale a full clean is a job for a carpet-wash service and their rug-washing machine, or an outdoor hose-down somewhere you have room to lay a 10×13 flat to dry. A quality rug pad is strongly recommended at this size, both to stop the rug shifting and to extend its life.
