Persian, Afghan, Turkish and modern designs, machine-woven in Türkiye with fringes and edges finished by hand, imported directly by container and sold from stock in Sacramento. Prices start under $40 for a mat and run to the 10×13 room sizes, which is the largest we carry.

How to read the listings

  • Reeds are the density. 1200-reed is our main tier and works out at over three million points per square metre; the 1.5M-point and 2 Million Point weaves are denser again, with a thicker hand and deeper colour saturation. Higher density means finer drawing in the medallion and a pile that recovers better underfoot.
  • Pile is 66% polypropylene / 34% polyester on a cotton warp, at about 10 mm. Solution-dyed, so the colour is inside the fibre and stays fade-resistant, and water-safe — the fibre sheds moisture rather than drinking it.
  • Design names are design names. “Persian,” “Kashan” and “Tabriz” describe the pattern. Every rug in this catalog is woven in Türkiye.
  • Sizes are what is in stock. We do not cut rugs to order or make custom sizes.

Are these hand-knotted?

No. Everything in the online catalog is machine-woven in Türkiye, with the fringes attached and finished by hand and the edges hand-serged or hand-bound. Genuine hand-knotted Afghan carpets are shown at our Sacramento showroom by appointment and are not part of this catalog.

What is shipping and what does it cost?

Free shipping on orders over $110 across the US and Canada; under that a flat rate applies and is shown at checkout. Nationwide delivery runs 3 to 5 business days. Around Sacramento we deliver free in 1 to 2 days, and in-store collection is usually ready in about two hours.

Can I return a rug if it is wrong in the room?

Yes — 30 days. Colour and scale are hard to judge from a screen, which is why the return window exists; see the refund policy for the details.

How do I clean one of these rugs?

Blot spills with cold water and a drop of mild soap, working from the outside of the spill inwards. For a full clean, hose it down outdoors and lay it flat to dry, or take it to a carpet-wash service. Vacuum without a beater bar and rotate the rug twice a year so it wears evenly.

What to know before buying a machine-made rug

Construction

The online catalog is power-loomed in Türkiye with hand-attached fringes and hand-finished edges. Each product page lists the exact construction, density, pile height and material.

Material & feel

A polypropylene pile on a cotton warp and weft — soft underfoot, colourfast, and far more forgiving of traffic and spills than wool.

Cleaning

Colourfast and water-safe, so a rug can be washed at home by hand or with a carpet-cleaning machine. Never in a washing machine or dryer. Day to day, vacuum on low with the beater bar off.

Best rooms

Living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, family rooms and majlis seating — anywhere you want a traditional look that survives daily use.

Shipping is free on orders over $110 across the USA and Canada, and a flat $20 below that. Orders leave within one business day and arrive in 3–5 business days in the U.S. Sacramento-area online orders get free local delivery in 1–2 days.

What is your return policy?

30-day returns on online orders. Items must be unused, in original condition and in original packaging. The customer pays return shipping; if a rug arrives damaged or faulty, we pay. Approved refunds are processed within 3–7 business days.

Can a rug be cut or bound to a different size?

We sell from stock rather than weaving to order, and the largest size we carry is 10×13. What we do in house is cutting, binding, overlocking and fringe work on a rug we already stock, so an existing piece can be trimmed to fit an alcove or a stair run. Ask us and we will tell you what is on the floor.

Can I see the rugs in person before buying?

Yes. The showroom is at 3423 Watt Avenue, Sacramento, open daily 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM. We speak English, Turkish, Farsi, Dari, Pashto and Urdu, and the team can help with size and colour choices.
