01Description
Underfoot first
The centre is a fine diamond lattice in honey gold that softens to ivory toward the edges, with a round medallion in rose, sky blue, olive and charcoal and two smaller pendants above and below. Around it, silver-gray bands lead to a wide black border full of small flowers, with cut corners that give the rug its classic Shah-style outline. The 3M-points density gives the dense, springy feel of the 1200-reed line.
Designer pairing
The black border lets this rug sit happily on darker floors where an all-light rug would wash out: walnut, espresso oak or dark tile. Pair with cream or gray upholstery and black or brass metal accents. Strong in formal living rooms and dining rooms.

Modern Persian rugs translate the visual vocabulary of classical Persian weaving — medallions, herati fields, layered borders — into palettes and scale that read as contemporary. The pattern lineage is intact; the colour story is updated for rooms built around oak, linen, brass, and natural light. The result reads as classical Persian design in a contemporary register.

How do I choose the right rug size?
For living rooms, an 8×10 or 9×12 frames the seating area. The rug should extend 18–24 inches beyond the sofa on each side. For dining rooms, choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond the table.
How is this rug made?
Every rug we sell is machine-woven in Türkiye, and this page lists its exact construction in Specifications. Synthetic and cotton pieces are honest about their material — see the Materials & Craftsmanship panel for this rug.
Do you offer custom rug sizes?
We don’t weave rugs to order, and we don’t cut or resize them. 10×13 ft is the largest size we carry and we sell from stock. The one finishing service we offer is overlocking — edge finishing on rugs bought from us. For a room bigger than 10×13, two rugs side by side usually works better than one oversized piece.
How should I care for my rug?
Vacuum weekly with the beater bar off, blot spills immediately with a clean white cloth, and rotate 180° every 6 months. If it ever needs a full wash, use an independent professional rug cleaner — we don’t clean rugs ourselves. Our free Rug Care Guide below covers the rest.
