Do I need a CA design license to qualify?
No. We accept independent designers, decorators, stagers, and design students. A portfolio link or design-related social account is enough for the Associate and Designer tiers. The Studio tier requires either a CA Seller's Permit or verifiable studio business registration.
Can I take a rug home on memo for a client?
Yes — Designer-tier and above accounts can memo up to 4 rugs at a time for 7 days. We ship memo rugs anywhere in the continental U.S. (return shipping is at memo program rates). Sacramento-area memos are delivered and picked up complimentary.
What's the difference between Trade Program and Wholesale?
The Wholesale Program is built for buyers ordering 5+ rugs per order, resellers, hotels, and bulk hospitality buyers. The Trade Program is for individual designers and small studios doing residential client work — the focus is curation, memo access, in-home preview, and design support, not bulk volume pricing.
Do you ship outside California?
Yes — free standard shipping anywhere in the continental U.S. on trade orders. Hawaii, Alaska, and international (Canada, UK) projects are quoted case-by-case.
Can you source custom sizes?
For Studio-tier accounts, we can place custom orders with our weaving partners in Iran and Turkey — custom sizes, color modifications, and small private collections. Lead times are typically 8–16 weeks. Minimum order value applies.
How does payment work?
Associate and Designer tier orders are charged at checkout. Studio-tier accounts qualify for Net-30 terms after three successful orders. We accept ACH, wire, and major cards. Trade discount is applied automatically at checkout once your account is approved.
Where is your showroom?
Our 20,000 sq ft showroom and warehouse is in Sacramento. Designer appointments take priority over walk-in retail traffic. Email trade@stylishrugs.us or call to book a visit — we'll have the styles you're considering pulled and laid out before you arrive.
