Bring the warmth and elegance of an Arabic majlis into your home with this Blue Arabic Floor Seating Sofa Set. This four-piece set features a generously padded seat cushion, two backrest pillows, and an armrest pillow — designed for traditional gatherings, casual lounging, or simply elevating your living space with timeless floor-seating style.
Best For
Traditional majlis-style living rooms and gathering spaces, family rooms, reading nooks, balconies, conservatories, shaded outdoor patios, cafés, hotels, prayer rooms, and event spaces. Pairs beautifully with bohemian, ethnic, and globally-inspired interiors.
Origin & Heritage
The majlis is one of the most lived-in rooms in the Arab home — a low, generous floor seating arrangement built for hospitality, conversation, and the long evenings that follow a meal. The format has shaped Gulf and Levantine interiors for centuries, and it adapts beautifully to contemporary rooms designed for gathering rather than performance.
How It Feels Underfoot
This piece sits in the cotton register — softer and lighter than a comparable wool weave, with a more tonal, breathable hand underfoot. Pattern definition stays sharp at the borders and field; the rug reads more luminous than dense, and suits bedrooms, sunrooms, and adult-led households where palette quietness matters. Care is straightforward: vacuum gently, spot clean, no machine wash.
Designer Styling Notes
Majlis sets work along a wall or in an L- or U-configuration, with a low table at the centre. Pair with brass tea service, low plaster lamps, and warmer wood accents — walnut or oak. For a more contemporary reading, set against a single statement rug and a low travertine or marble table; for a more traditional one, layer with smaller decorative cushions in complementary palettes.

03Materials & Craftsmanship
Our Arabic Majlis sets bring authentic Gulf-style hospitality into your home. Each set combines thick foam cushions with woven cover fabrics in traditional patterns and luxurious finishes.
Sets are built modular so you can configure L-shape, U-shape, or linear layouts. Cover fabrics are washable and the foam holds shape over years of regular use.
04What's Included
Arabic Majlis sets typically include the floor mattress sections and matching back cushions. The number of pieces depends on the configuration you choose.
05Care Instructions
- Removable fabric covers — spot clean or gentle wash if marked as removable
- Air-dry only — keep inserts and foam dry
- Vacuum regularly with a brush attachment

08Frequently Asked Questions
How long does shipping take?
Most orders arrive within 3–5 business days. Full rates and the Canada note are in Shipping & Returns above.
What is your return policy?
30-day returns on online orders. The item must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. Customer pays return shipping. Approved refunds are processed within 3–7 business days.
Can I see this in person before buying?
Yes — it is on the showroom floor. Opening times and directions are in the Visit Our Sacramento Showroom panel above. Call ahead if you want a specific piece pulled out before you arrive.
How can I get help choosing the right piece?
Message us on WhatsApp or call — the number is in the header and the footer. Tell us the two room measurements and we will tell you honestly which size fits, including when none of ours do.
How many people does a majlis set seat?
It depends on your wall rather than a fixed head count: each seat cushion is about 190 cm (75 in) long. Divide your wall length by that to see how many fit, and combine sets along more walls for larger gatherings.
Can I arrange the pieces in different layouts?
Yes — the pieces are modular, so you can set them out in an L-shape, U-shape or a straight line, and combine more than one set for larger rooms. We sell stock sizes only; we do not make custom pieces.
Can I use a majlis set outdoors?
On covered patios and balconies, yes. Avoid direct rain or prolonged sun exposure to keep covers and cushions in best condition.
