This edit gathers our cream-and-ivory Persian-design pieces in the 1200-reed line. Different motifs and frame densities, a shared light palette. Machine-woven in Türkiye for everyday use, and honest about being machine-woven.

Warm cream or cool cream

This is the decision that decides whether the rug looks right. A warm, yellow-leaning cream against a cool grey-white wall reads dirty; a cool, grey-leaning cream against warm oak and brass reads washed out. Hold the shade against your actual floor and your actual wall, in daylight, before you commit — not against a photograph of them.

Be honest about the room

Cream in a formal sitting room or a main bedroom is a pleasure to own. Cream in an entry hall, under a dining table or on the dog’s route to the back door is a decision you will be cleaning around. If the room is busy, ivory and beige gives you most of the same lift with far more tolerance.

How do I keep a cream rug clean?

Vacuum weekly without a beater bar, and blot spills the moment they happen with cold water and a drop of mild soap — speed matters far more than any product. For a full refresh, hose it down outdoors and lay it flat to dry, or take it to a carpet-wash service.

Will it yellow over time?

The pile is solution-dyed, so the colour sits inside the fibre and does not oxidise the way an untreated natural fibre can. What changes a cream rug is ground-in soil, which is why the vacuuming matters.

What to know before buying a machine-made rug

Construction

The online catalog is power-loomed in Türkiye with hand-attached fringes and hand-finished edges. Each product page lists the exact construction, density, pile height and material.

Material & feel

A polypropylene pile on a cotton warp and weft — soft underfoot, colourfast, and far more forgiving of traffic and spills than wool.

Cleaning

Colourfast and water-safe, so a rug can be washed at home by hand or with a carpet-cleaning machine. Never in a washing machine or dryer. Day to day, vacuum on low with the beater bar off.

Best rooms

Living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, family rooms and majlis seating — anywhere you want a traditional look that survives daily use.

Genuine hand-knotted Afghan carpets are shown at the Sacramento showroom by appointment. They are not part of this online catalog.

Shipping is free on orders over $110 across the USA and Canada, and a flat $20 below that. Orders leave within one business day and arrive in 3–5 business days in the U.S. Sacramento-area online orders get free local delivery in 1–2 days.

What is your return policy?

30-day returns on online orders. Items must be unused, in original condition and in original packaging. The customer pays return shipping; if a rug arrives damaged or faulty, we pay. Approved refunds are processed within 3–7 business days.

Are these rugs machine-made or hand-knotted?

Hand-knotted Afghan pieces are shown at the Sacramento showroom by appointment and are not listed online.

Can a rug be cut or bound to a different size?

We sell from stock rather than weaving to order, and the largest size we carry is 10×13. What we do in house is cutting, binding, overlocking and fringe work on a rug we already stock, so an existing piece can be trimmed to fit an alcove or a stair run. Ask us and we will tell you what is on the floor.

Can I see the rugs in person before buying?

Yes. The showroom is at 3423 Watt Avenue, Sacramento, open daily 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM. We speak English, Turkish, Farsi, Dari, Pashto and Urdu, and the team can help with size and colour choices.
