Plan Your Visit
Some rugs photograph well. Others have to be walked on. We keep ours where you can do both — in a working showroom on Watt Avenue, a few minutes off I-80.
Why visit in person
A rug is one of the few things in a home where the photograph never quite tells the truth. The hand of a piece — the way wool fingers between your toes, the weight of a 1200-reed weave, the depth that takes hold of light — only really shows up in person. Our showroom exists so that customers from Sacramento, the Bay Area, Wine Country, and the Sierra can see the full collection before they commit.
We don't push. We pull pieces, lay them under your shoes, let you stand back and read the room from across the floor. If something doesn't sit right, we say so.
What to expect when you arrive
A working showroom, not a gallery
Rugs are stacked, rolled, and hanging — not curated behind glass. Our team will pull anything you want to see flat, in good light, and at the size that fits your room.
No appointment required
Drop-in welcome during open hours. If you'd like a specialist held aside for a focused consultation — especially for larger or oversized rugs that need to come down from the wall — call ahead to let us know you're coming.
Persian, Farsi, Arabic spoken
Our team speaks English, Persian (Farsi), and Arabic. Families coming in for a wedding rug, a majlis floor seating set, or to discuss a heritage piece they grew up with are comfortable in any of these languages.
What to bring
- Room measurements (length × width, in feet or inches — we have measuring tapes if you forget)
- One photograph of the room, taken from the doorway, in natural light
- A fabric swatch from your sofa, drapery, or a paint chip — we'll match it against rugs under daylight in the showroom
- If you're replacing a rug, the existing piece's dimensions and a sense of what didn't work about it

For visitors from the Bay Area & the wealth corridor
Sacramento sits at the northern edge of the Central Valley with easy reach to Roseville, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, and Lake Tahoe to the east. Most Bay Area customers — from Palo Alto, San Francisco, Marin, Napa, and Sonoma — drive up in under two hours. We're happy to coordinate the visit around traffic patterns and have rugs ready when you arrive.
If the drive isn't feasible, we also offer concierge consultations by phone, video, or in your home — full guidance from our showroom team, without the trip.
Before you make the drive
Browse the Persian collection, the broader Oriental selection, or our luxury tier from anywhere. Send the URLs of pieces you want to see in person; we'll have them down and ready for you on arrival.
We're a small family-owned showroom, not a chain. Every rug is hand-selected by people whose names you'll learn when you walk in.
