نخلة الشاه عباسي - توقيع كاشاني عمره أربعمائة عام
عندما نقل الشاه عباس الكبير عاصمته من قزوين إلى أصفهان عام 1598 وبدأ في إعادة بناء فنون البلاط الإيراني، قامت ورش كاشان على بعد مائة كيلومتر بتدوين حقل النخيل الذي سيصبح إرثه المميز: نخيلات كبيرة مستوحاة من زهرة اللوتس متصلة بسيقان ملتوية، ترتكز عليها أزهار فرعية أصغر، مرتبة في موكب متناسق عبر أرضية حمراء مشبعة. تم إعادة نسج هذه التركيبة باستمرار في كاشان لأربعة قرون؛ ويطلق عليها هواة الجمع ببساطة "الشاه عباسي". هذه القطعة هي قراءتنا لهذا النمط بـ1200 قصبة.

Origin & Heritage
Turkish weaving has its own long tradition — looser, often more geometric than Persian work, with strong colour and a distinctive feel for medallion-and-border layouts. The cities of Hereke, Kayseri, and Ushak each produced their own pattern languages. This piece is woven in Turkey in that lineage, drawing on classical Turkish design with a contemporary build.
