تستوحي هذه القطعة من تقاليد تكليف بلاط طهران في عهد رضا شاه بهلوي (1925-1941) ومحمد رضا شاه (1941-1979) - عصر التحديث الذي أنتجت فيه برامج النسيج الملكية الإيرانية (لا سيما مشاغل البلاط في منطقة طهران) سجادًا حافظ على مفردات الميداليات الفارسية مع الميل نحو الثقة في الألوان الحديثة: أرضيات مشبعة، نسب ألوان أكثر جرأة، وحدود مبسطة قليلاً لتناسب الذوق العالمي الأكثر انتشارًا في استقبالات البلاط في تلك الفترة.
